Base of Marketing segmentation.
There are many bases of marketing segmentation.These bases are as below-
1.Personal segmentation-
It is the first base of marketing segmentation.Every customer has need,want,desire so they purchase product or service.The ratio of need,want,desire of customers is variable to one another.The process in which we classify the need,want,desire of customers on the basis of the ratio of need,want,desire of customers this process is called personal segmentation.
2.Geographical segmentation-It is second base of marketing segmentation.Every customer lives at particular area.The climate of each area is different from each other.Some area has more hotness whereas some area has coldness.The process in which we produce product according to the climate of area to fulfill the need,want,desire of customers this process is called geographical segmentation.
3.Demographic segmentation-It is the third base of segmentation.Every customer has particular age,gender,martial statusso their need,want,desire is variable from other age group people so the process in which we classify the customers according to their age group,gender,martial status etc this process is called demographic segmentation.
4.Socio cultural segmentation-It is also an important base of segmentation.Every customer has particular subculture,culture.religion,social class and so on so their like,dislike,fashion,attitude is variable one another so the process in which we classify the customers on the basis of their subcultural,cultural,religion etc this process is called socio cultural segmentation.
5.Behavioural segmentation-It is also an important base of segmentation.Behaviour is the mirror that shows the personality,perception,attitude of customer.The process in which we watch,analysis the behaviour of customers and know the need,want,desire,like,dislike,of customers and fulfill all these things by our product service or idea this process is called behavioural segmentation.
