Ayushman Bharat is the world's largest health insurance scheme that is fully financed by the government. It is launched on 25 September 2018. Key features- 1.It provides free coverage of up to 5 lakh per family per year at any government or empanelled private hospital all over India. 2.Its aim to achieve the vision of United Health Mission. 3. It is a portable scheme. Card holder may visit any government hospital or empanelled private hospital in India. 4. There is no discrimination on the basis of family, size, age, gender, caste, religion and so on. 5. It covers more than 11 crore family. 6.
