Group Discussion

The full from of G.D is  group discussion . There are a number of methods of personality test of any employee. These are interwiew, G.D , Debate and so on. among all G.D is the first and very important method. It is used by large scale company, multinational company any to test the personality of employee . It is used by government comany to recruite thair employee. In practice it is popular to use by SSB and MBA adminission test. 
Process - In this process a round table is fixed or set in a fix place . There are five to seven chairs set arround it every condidate seat on a particular fix chairs  behind every chair also a number is present . If candidates get number, they match the number and seat on thair match chair after taking sit experts, judges  come and explain the rules- regulation, law in the process of G.D
After providing the information they announce thr topic of G.D , after announceing the topic G.D is started. Condidates start to speak on the topic . Topic is controversial. so, condididates has much scope to share their view, idea, thought with others. 
 Types of G.D-
There are a number of types of G.D . These are as below- 
1. Structured G.D - It is the first type of G.D  In this G.D student select the topic . If student condidates select the topic they are familiar with the topic and they can deliver the  idea, thought, policy, programme by an advance way. In this way the aim of G.D is eaisly achieved. 
 2. Unstructured G. D - It is the second type of G.D . In this g.d candidates donate select the topic. The topic is provided by expert. Now it is a very popular G.D . most of the organation use such type of G.D Today is 21st century . It is also a globlised age, Expert provide such  type of concern matter, topic that has more space to speak. Expart has more knowledge, talent , skill . so , they select an appropriate topic that has more space to speak and deliver . thair idea, thought, frlling, attitude, emotion in a good way .
 3. Chairman type of G.D - It is the 3rd from of G.D . It is a hight class qualified and possess deep knowledge, talent, skill then this type of G.D is used in this G.D  a candidates who is good out looking he is selected as chairman. 
4. Role play - It is also an important  type of G.D . It is not a popular G.D . So , most of the organation donot  use it. In this G.D candidates share their idea, view, thought, openion to solve any problem solving capacity to an authentic way. e.g - It in 2009 economics faces the downfall condidates . In this situation how can company save thrir and increase and their marketing in the example of role- play G. D .
 5 Abstract G.D ;- It is also an important type of  G.D . In this G.d expert gives an imaginary question and give order to explain this imaginary question according to their own view, idea,thought and so on. It is mainly belong to emotional level and the emotinal estates depth explaintion capacity and such type of things is tested. 
6. Case study G.D ;It is also a tupe of G.D a big problem that was faced by any company provided to the candidatates and watched the problem solving capacity of the candidates . It is mainly given in indian institute of managment test. 
 7. Controversial G.D ;- It is also an important type of G.D. In this G.D expert provide a controversial matter this topic attack the caste, colour, community , religion  area of the candidates expert once to test their internal personality like confidence , power , capacity it has more scope to deliver idea about this topic.
What to do in Group Discussion-
1.To understand the topic by a proper way.If we do not listen or understand the topic by a proper way we may not speak well so try to uderstand the topic properly.
