Satya Nadella became Chairman of Microsoft

 Microsoft is the second most valuable company in the world which market capitalisation is 1.9 trillion Dollars. Staya Narayana Nadella who has been working as Chief Executive Officer since 2014 became Chairman of Microsoft on 16 July 2021. He is the third C.E.O.and Chairman of the Company.

He was born at Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh one of the important states of India on 19 August 1967. His father's name is Bukkapuram Nadella Yugandhar is a top-level civil servant in the Indian government. He had been contributing his best for 35 years in land reforms, rural development, employment generation, bonded labour abolition and poverty removal in India. His mother's name is Smt. Prabhavati Yugandhar who is a scholar of Sanskrit. She played an important role in the development of Satya. She taught him the ancient language, literature, philosophy, culture and civilisation of India. She also supports him to perform his experiment in the area of Electronic and Technology because he has been performing many experiments in this area. This experiment plays an important role in the career development of Microsoft. Staya gives credit to his family for guiding, supporting him to become a successful engineer and leader.

He has completed his Senior Secondary education from Hyderabad Public School Begumpet. He is a very intelligent and creative student so he obtained top ranks in the school. He has got the degree of Bachelor of Technology from Manipal Institute of Technology one of the top rankers university in India. After completing the Bachelor of Technology he got Master of Science degree from the University Of Wisconsin Milwaukee in the United States Of America. He has got Master of Business Administration degree from Booth School of Business that is affiliated with the University of Chicago.

He started his career at Sun Microsystems that is a popular company selling Computers, software and I.T.services. He has been working for two years as an engineer in Sun Microsystem.

He was married to Anupama who is his school friend. He has three children whose name is Divya, Tara and Zain.

 He joined Microsoft in 1992 as an engineer. He has been working in the development of Window NT. Window NT is an operating system that has developed for a businessman to perform his function effective, efficient and economical way. He provided his best knowledge, talent, skill and wisdom for the development of Microsoft so he was promoted as Vice President in 1999. He was the head of Microsoft b central. After performing his best function he was promoted to an executive role in 2002. He was a few engineers who got such type of responsibility in the company.

There are many awards he has got for his contribution to the development of technology. These awards are as below-

1. Person of the year -2019 by Financial Times.

2. A good rank in the list of 30 best CEO by Barron.

3. He got 6th rank in the list of Ten Innovative leaders by Forbes.

4. He also got a good position in the lust of 100 Powerful people 2018 by Forbes.

Besides the above, he has been providing support to many organisations. These organisations are as below-

1. A board member Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Centre.

2. A member of the board of trustee at the University of Chicago 

He is also a very good writer. He has written his autobiography "Hit Refresh". In this book, he has explained his life, career and role in technology to change society.
