Proning helps COVID 19 patients.

 COVID 19 virus impacts the overall immune system of body. It also causes weight loss and weakness. The second wave of Covid 19 spread all over the world. India is maximum affected so doctors advocate Proning exercise to improve oxygen level. 

It is an infectious diseases caused by a newly discovered Corona virus. There are many symptoms of COVID. These are fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulties in breathing, fatigue, muscle aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, running nose, congestion, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, confusion, delirium, agitation, ear pain, dizzing and anxiety etc. 

Some people become serious and they need Oxygen because their oxygen levels become minimum so proning is a medical approved position in which people are made to lie on their abdomen to boost their oxygen levels. It gives immediate benefit and increase the level of oxygen. 

It is an easy exercise that may be done at home or hospital. In the process of proning people is made to lie on their belly using pillow. One can also lie on ones right side. 

It should be done for minimum 30 minutes and maximum two hours. It improve ventilation to the lungs and keeps the alveoli unit open so easy breathing starts. It requires 4-5 pillow. One pillow is to be placed below the neck 1-2 pillow below the chest through upper thigh and 2 pillow below the shines. 

It should not be done by women who is in pregnancy. The people who have cardiac problem they should not do it. 

Besides above deep breathing, Pranayama, eating iron rich food improve oxygen levels. 

This method is suggested by many doctors and Health ministry of India.
