It is established, guided and leaded by Dr. DVK Raju and G. A. N. Raju as Biological Products Pvt. Ltd. in 1948.It started its function from 1953. At present Mahima Dalta is the Managing Director of company who got Bachelor of Business Administration from Webster University U. K. It has advance and computerised production unit at Paonta Sahib in Himachal Pradesh. 

It started its function as a biological products liver extracts and anti -Coagulants.The first product of Company is Heparin that is used to prevent blood clots is very success in market and help many million people. . 

It established its Biotechnology division in 1962 that produces many types of vaccine. It is the first Indian private company to start production of vaccine from 1962.It is the largest producer of Tetanus vaccine in the world. It is also one of the biggest suppliers of Pentavalent and Polyvalent. Pantavalent is the popular vaccine that save children from Diptheria, Tetanus, Whooping Cough, Hepatitis B and Haemophilus influenzae type B. It is also leading supplier of Heparin and Noscapine that is used to remove cough. 

There are many private company, organisations, departments and NGOs it makes an agreement to produce different types of Vaccine to save the life of people. These organization, departments and NGOs are Biofarma, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Centre of disease Control and prevention, Clinton Foundation, Coalition for Epidemic preparedness innovations, Glaxo Smithkline, GSK Vaccine forfor Global Health, GAVI, MERCK, Ministry of Health and Social welfare Government of India, Netherlands Vaccine Institute, The National Institute of Health,Statens Serum Institute, PATH, Takeda, UNICEF and so on. 

It produces Corbevax. Corbevax has passed the clinical trial of 1 and 2 phase under the supervision of Drugs Controller General of India. The result of clinical trials of phase 1 and 2 is very effective. It is found safe, well-tolerated and immunogenic. Its clinical trial of 3rd phase is in pipeline. It got approval of emergency use. 

Corbevax has been developing with the help of Baylor College of Medicine U. S. A. It is a recombine protin sub unit vaccine. It is made a unique part of SARS-Cov-2 the spike protin alone their body develop an immune response that fights the virus when it infects person. 

It also made an agreement with Janssen pharmaceutical to produce vaccine and provide concern government.
