Role Of COWIN In Vaccination Process against COVID 19.

 The second and third wave of COVID 19 put a devastating impact on the people of the world. There are more than 150 countries have been affected for Six months from COVID 19.

COWIN app is extension of Electronic vaccinate intelligence Network. It provides real time data on vaccine stocks, strong temperature across at all places where vaccination process performed. It is a Cloud base app for planning, implementing rules, regulation, law monitoring the real situation and evaluating the process of vaccination. It also possess a  four digit security code featured that makes the vaccination slot booking safe and secure. 

It is used for the age group of 18- 45 years people who want to take vaccine of COVID 19. It starts it's function from 1 May 2021. It is mandatory for the new beneficiaries who belongs to 18 to 45 age group. It is also linked to the National Health Data Management policy. It has no privacy policy. It is accessible national, state and district administration. 

The people who are living in rural areas and semi urban areas they do their registration with the help of Common Service Center. Pay world also help people in rural areas to register on COWIN website. 

There are many steps of registration. These steps are as below. 

Step 1 - We should visit the COWIN portal. 

Step 2 - We should register our mobile number. 

Step 3 - We get OTP via Sms. 

Step 4 - We enter the OTP. 

Step 5 - We should enter our location, residence, district and Pin Code. 

Step 6 - We see all nearby vaccination centre and slot. 

Step 7 - we should choose vaccination centre and time slot. 

Step 8 - We should get a four digit security code by text messages. 

We should keep this code properly because it is needed on the center on vaccination day. 

India provides 143090,218 people first dose of Vaccine. It is 10.5 percent of total population. The people who took both doses is 40726,986. It is the 3 percent  of total population.
