What is Research Methodology

 Research is an important function of business that finds out new idea,opinion, vision,method to perform the function of business by an effective,efficient,economical,innovative way to achieve the objective of business.

Research is made two syllables.One is re and second is search.Re means again and search means finds out.So we can say that research is the process of finding out new knowledge, idea, opinion ,method that is available in the market but we do not know.

In other words we can say that research is the process of collecting and analyzing data to find out information.

Methodology-The process in which we perform all functions systematically is called methodology.

Research methodology-The process in which we perform all functions of research by systematically to find out new knowledge,idea,opinion this process is called research methodology.

In other words we can say that there are many functions of research.These functions are to identify problem,to review literature,to formulate objectives,to formulate  hypothesis etc.The process in which all above explain function is performed by systematically way to find out new knowledge,idea,opinion this process is called research methodology.
