Input device of Computer and Its Function.

 Computer is an electronic device that takes data from user and after processing data gives information to user.There are many elements of computer. These are input device,out put device CPU and so on. The role and function of every device is unique.The function of input device is as below-

1.Keyboards-It is the first and important input device of computer.It is used by user to input number,text,instruction to computer.

2.Mouse-It is also an example of input device.It plays an important role to work at personal computer.It is used to select or move items on the screen.

3.Joystick-It is also an important input device.It allows user to navigate an object.It is used by user in gaming process.

4.Microphone-It is used by user to hear audio from computer. It is a hardware peripheral device.

5.Webcam-It is used to view picture or video by user if user connects Camera to Computer.

6.Light pen-It is a pointing device.It is used to select a display item.It is also used to draw picture on the screen.

7.Scanner-It is also an input device.It is used to get information that is present on the paper.

8.Digitizer-It is used by user to convert analog information into digital information.

9.Track ball-It is also used to give instruction to Computer. It is used in Laptop computer.It is used instead of mouse.

10.Microphone-It is used to store sound in digital form.It is also used to add sound into multimedia form.

Other example-Magnetic Ink Card Reader,Optical Character Reader,Bar Code Readers,Optical Mark Reader etc.
