 Production Management is one of important department of organization.It plays an important role for the growth survival and profit maximization of organization.There are many functions of production Management.Some important functions are as below-

3.It plans,organizes,staffs,directs,controls human resource force who participated in production and concern activities.

4.It schedules production according to predefined plan.

6.It designs and develops production process of organization.

7.It coordinates among departments to maximize production.

8.It selects raw materials at right price at right time.

9.It maintains plant and technology according to pre defined rules regulation,terms and condition.

10.It decides the target of production at weekly,monthly basis.

11.It draws the time table to starts and completes all concerns activities of organization.

12.It decides routing process of production that is used to transport raw material to plant and finished products to store room.

13.It makes dispatching paper to dispatch product outside the organization.
