 Market consists an important role in every type of economy because most of economic activities perform here.It plays an important role to fulfill the need,desire,demand,want of consumers and increases their living standard so every government makes policy,programme,rules,regulation and law to develop market.

Every company also care marketing activities because it plays an important role for the survival,growth and profit maximization of firm.

There are many experts,organisations define marketing a number of different ways.Some ways are as below-

According to Philip Kotler-Marketing is the science and art of exploring creating and delivering value to satisfy the needs of a target market at a profit.

According to The American Marketing Association Marketing is the activity,set of institutions and processes for creating,communicating,delivering,and exchanging offerings that have value for customers,clients,partners,and society at large.

According to Whartoon School-Marketing is the process of anticipating,managing,and satisfying the demand for products service and ideas.

Accoeding to me-Marketing is the process of knowing individuals,group,organisations'need,demand,desire,want and fulfilling products or service and giving them maximum satisfaction.

In other words we can say that Marketing is the process of anticipating and fulfilling the demand of customers by product,service and ideas at continue basis.
