Communication Channal 
There are a no. of way communication flow from one person to other person. The ways in which communication flow from source to destination. This way is know as communication channel.
In other words we can say that the pay in which manager forward thair policy, programme, idea to thair junior, subordinate sales respresentation by step wise way. This process is called communication channel . 
In other words we can say that the process in which manager takes , fact,figur , data to thair sub-ordinates. This way is know as communication Channel. 
 * Types of communication channel ; There are two types of communication channel 
1. Formal 2. Informal  
1. Formal channel of communication ;- The channel in which massage flows from source of destination by a step to step way. This type of communication channel is know as formal communication

 Marketing Manager;- Formal  manager - Regional manager- Area manager- Sales exeative - sales Representative -DGP-IG- DIG -SP- D.S.P -Sub-Inspector-Police constable- jamder-Hawaldar
Merits of formal communication;-
1. It is very useful in large scale compny because data flows from step to step way.
2. Data flows from step to step way,so,only concern person know the working way, working style of the organation. 
3. It uses more I.T, Audio,vidio,system to forward communication to their boss.  
4. It is a slow way of communication , so accurate , authentic communication reaches to destination.  
 *Demerit of formal channel of communication.
1. It is a time consuming process. 
2. It is a resource consuming process. 
3. It is a energy consuming process.
4. It is not useful for small scale company  
  *2. Informal Communication Channel.
There are a no. of manager work in the organation Every manager person his funcation by a particular style , way and so on Each style has two types of aspects . One is positive and negative . The way in which way,working style , sub-ordinate understand thr working way,working style of thaie boss and share among themselves. This way is know as share informal  way of communication 
 In other words we can say that the process inb which communication flows from source to destination without any predefined way,step,informal,This way is know as informal channel of communication.
