 Management information system plays an important role in the development of the organization. It helps to perform all functions of business like production, demand forecasting, selling, and trading in an effective, efficient, economical way. It also helps us in the process of planning, organizing, staffing,  direction, and controlling so we can say that a management information system is an innovative approach that helps organizations to perform their function at globe level.

There are many activities in management information systems. These activities are as below.

Planning- It is the first activity of the management information system. Planning is the combination of policy, rules, regulation, program, and procedure so the process in which an organization develops a plan to innovate management information system according to the goal and objective of the organization and make such type of system that helps them to perform the function and achieve the goal of the organization this process is called planning.

Designing- It is the second activity of management information system development. Designing is the process of developing a system that should be useful to users so users can use it easily. So the process in which the organization studies all available systems of the market and their positive and negative features and develops one of the best systems is called designing of the system. They develop a new system that is beneficial for the human resource force of the organization. #Implementation- It is also an important activity of the management information system. The process in which the system is launched in such type of way that every office of the organization may accept and use this new program at the same time to perform all their functions in a systematic, scientific and formal way. This process is called the Implementation of a management information system.
