Quality control
There are many features of product. These features are quality, quantity, shape, size, colour, outlook and so on. Every feature is important and plays an important role to fulfill the need, desire, demand, expectation of customer. Among all quality is an important feature of product.
The feature that is able to fulfill the need, desire, demand of customer. This feature is called quality.
In other words we can say that quality is an internal feature of product that is able to fulfill need, desire of customer.
Nature:
1. It is an internal process.
2. It is a technical process.
3. It is a continuous process.
4. It is a formal process.
5. It is a purposeful process.
Objective:
1. It improves the living standard of customer.
2. It increases transaction of organisation.
3. It improves profit of organisation.
4. It helps to achieve the goal of organisation.
5. It helps to become brand.
6. It provide maximum satisfaction to customers.
7. It increases name, fame, goodwill of organisation among customers.
8. It increases area of business.
Technique of Quality control:
1. JIT- It is the fi rst technique of quality control. The process in which organisation always improves the production process and improve the quality of product. This process is called JIT.
2. Quality at source- we know that workers are main element of production process. The process in which workers are made responsible for their activities and action. This process is called quality at source.
3. Inspection - Every organisation have inspectors. Inspectors regularly check production of organisation.
4. Quality circle- organisation, firm who meet regularly and make policy, programme, rules, law to improve quality of product. This is called quality control.
5. Frequency of Inspection- sometimes organisation calls an expert outside the organisation and get their feedback about the production process and improve the quality of product.
