 Computer is an electronic device that takes input from User processing the input and gives information by output.

There are many characteristics of Computer.These are as below-

1.Its speed is maximum.

2.It can store huge amount of data.

3.It performs operation by centpercent right way.

5.Its accuracy is cent per cent.

6.It is diligence in operation.

7.It is multi purpose used device.

Classification of Computer-

On the basis of size there are four types of Computer. These are as below-

1.Micro computer-It is the first type of computer. It is based on simple microprocessor.Its size is small. It is very useful to perform day to day office work.It is also inexpensive.

2.Minicomputer Computer-It is second type of computer. It came to the market in the decade of 1960. It is very useful for Manager. It is also very useful for Small Scale organization,Middle Scale organization.It can communicate 2 to 200 people by its multiprocessing system. It is affordable,less expensive,peripherals so it is very popular.

3.Mainframe Computer- It is also an important type of computer.It is very useful for large scale company and Multi national company. It is multi purpose user computer. It can communicate 1000 people at a time.It can process huge amount of data.It is very powerful computer.Its speed is also very fast.

4.Super Computer- It is also an important type of computer. It is very powerful and mainly used for specific function like Research weather forcasting, nuclear energy etc.It is mainly used by Country and Multi national company.
