Concept of Perception and factor affect perception

 There are many factors of individuals play an important role in survive,grow and develop in organization.These factors are personality,perception,learning and attitude.Every factor plays an important role and its contribution is different from one another.Among all perception is the second factor that plays a very important to develop individuals.

Perception is the view of individuals towards anythings.In other words we can say that the process in which we see observe and interpret anythings towards any topic this process is called Perception.

In other words we can say that the process in which we hear select and interpret anythings this process is called Perception.

According to Udai Pareek -Perception is the process of receiving selecting,organising,interpreting,checking,and reacting to sensory stimuli.

According to RobbinsPerception is the process by which individuals organize and interpret sensory impressions in order to give meaning to their environments.

Factor affect Perception-

There are many factors affect perception.These factors are as below-

1.Need-It is the first factor that affects perception.Every individual has need.These needs belongs to Food,shelter,cloth.job.power,post etc.If the need of individuals towards high his perception is positive whereas if the need of individuals towards anythings is low his perception is negative towards that things.

2.Learning- Every individuals has different learning ability.The individuals whose learning ability is high or fast his perception towards anythings is accurate whereas if learning ability is low or slow his perception is inaccurate.

3.Mental status-Every individuals mental status is different from one another.The individuals whose mental status is high he receives sensory input by a fast way so his perception becomes accurate.

4.Cognitive ratio- Every individuals has different way to understand situation.The individuals who has fast cognitive ratio they understand any situation by a proper way and his perception is accurate towards that situation.

5.Size-It is also an important factor of perception.If the size of objects is big the perception of individual is positive towards them whereas if the size of objects is small the perception of individuals is negative.

All above explain factors play an important role to decide the perception of individuals.
