Role of Manager in 21st century.

The Role of Manager is very complex in 21st century globalized economy age because today economy is full of competition. It is very difficult to manage many thousand people inside/outside the organization. The main role of Manager is as below.

1. Interpersonal- It is the first role of Manager. Under this role he is figure head, leader and liaison of organization.
 A. Figure head- He is the face of organization. He meets all people who come to organization for any purposeful work. He signs legal documents of organization.
 B. Leadership- All managers also perform leadership role. They inspire, influence, motivate, guide, support human resource forces towards positive direction and acquire their talent, knowledge, skill, wisdom, to achieve their predefined goal.
 C. Liaison- He is also performing a liaisoning role. He talks distribution channels head and gets the feedback of customers and consumers. They also coordinate the activities among subordinates.

2. Informational roles- It is the second role of manager. They get facts, figure, data from concern persons and personnels. After getting this data they use it for making policy, programme, rules regulation of organization. They also use this data to monitor employees.

3. Decision maker- It is the third role of manager. They take a number of decisions. These decisions may belong to market, production, employees and so on.
 Their decision play an important role for the success of organization.So we may say that the role of Manager is very wide and complex.
